How the CSA works
Peaceful Harvest CSA program is a way to buy fresh local food directly from the farmer who grows it. Through customer prepaid shares, the farm is able to buy seeds, pay for land and other needed supplies early in the winter to grow the food for distribution later in the season.
Creating direct relationships between producer and consumer establishes trust and also allows consumers to better understand where their food comes from. The farmer also benefits by having a secure customer base who all love fresh, local and seasonal vegetables. A supportive enironment for a commuity of people making small changes together in their food choices, Peaceful Harvest CSA is a fun, educational and delicious experience I hope you enjoy.
Being a CSA member is an important decision. It is buying a share of the farm, taking a risk with the farmer and gaining all of tthe benefits . I would love for you to join to support our adventure and discover your own love of farming.
Community Supported Agriculture
Peaceful Harvest CSA is offering a box of seasonal vegetables for 8 weeks of summer. The produce will be a range of organic vegetables; everything from crisp greens to crunchy carrots to sweet tomatoes and much more. Shares are purchased at the beginning of the year to help us establish seed money as well as plan for how many members will need produce.
The cost is $175 for 8 weeks of veggies. Space is extremely limitd this year. Please pay in full by March 1st.

Our Growing Practices
All of our produce is grown on our farm. We believe that by choosing natural alternatives instead of harmful chemicals we can preserve the soil health and help create a more sustainable future.
Organic Certification is a three year process with extensive paperwork. We will not be applying for organic certification this year, but will absolutely follow organic standards.
